I had a really good hair day this day so I was more concerned about capturing that than my outfit….although I also really liked my outfit!
I wore jeans,a long black shirt, my purpley JCrew cable knit cardigan and my trusty flower scarf that goes with everything.
I really love wearing sweaters and scarves:)

One of my favorite nicknames I have been given is Scarflet. A lot of people say that when they think of me, they think of scarves and it really is my signature article of clothing. I love them so much. They’re warm when you need them to be, they can add color to an outfit, and they provide some cozy comfort.

Boston Fashion Update
I was in Boston yesterday and having never been there, I was looking forward to seeing the history and the fashion of this great city. Having noticed a trend in Connecticut, I was expecting to see something similar farther north.
The weather was cool, but not cold so heavy coats were not necessary and most people had on either sweatshirts or sweaters. I also noticed a lot of boots. So many boots....

Connecticut Fashion Update
I have noticed a trend in Connecticut:
A lot of girls are wearing ankle-length or rolled up jeans with flats. On top it’s mostly been a long-sleeved top or sweater paired with a go-to scarf. I can totally get behind this look. I feel like in DC it is All About The Boots. In fact, I brought 2 pairs of boots with me and no flats!

Tennis Anyone?
I had the most amazing weekend and I realize I am late reporting on it, but it has been GO GO GO since I got back.
I got to go to the US OPEN!!!!!!!! I will try to share more pictures from the actual event later, but for now, here is what I wore. Look familiar? Yeah, I went for comfort and ease. I didn’t want to worry about my outfit as I watched hours and hours of tennis.

When In Doubt...Wear It All!

Warning: These pictures did not turn out well=/ I haven’t been using my Canon XTi, which is making all the difference. Anyway, I’m wearing a black pencil skirt, a longer black/white button up and a black cardigan. It’s very “Secretary”- errr, not in the kinky movie of the same name way!
